The Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center property has a wide variety of habitat including longleaf pine flatwood, hardwood bottoms, mixed hardwood uplands and this pretty little cypress swamp. My friend and fellow photographer, Beth Young, arranged for our visit to the Dixon Center. She walks softly and carries a big stick... while recovering from foot surgery. |
